From the ALA:
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has proposed stronger, life-saving standards that will drive the cleanup of soot, or particle pollution, in our air. The Big Polluters are trying to block tighter standards because the standards must tell the truth about the dangerous levels of microscopic particles in the air across the nation. EPA is accepting comments on their proposal, which sets official, health-based limits on one of the deadliest and most dangerous air pollutants. EPA now needs to hear your strong support for these critical clean air standards.
