Coalition member Dr. Diana Christopulos published a Letter to the Editor in the 8/23 Roanoke Times, responding to an editorial piece criticizing air quality regulations based on asthma concerns. Dr. Christopulos’ letter opens:
In a recent commentary (“Asthma is a bad excuse for regulations,” Aug. 12), Jane Van Ryan presented herself as an asthma patient who opposes clean air regulations. According to Van Ryan, there is no connection between asthma and air quality. Instead, she advises people to stop drinking milk, as she has done.
